The composition of self-adhesive labels

Self-adhesive labels are composed of three parts: face paper, adhesive and release paper. Release paper is commonly known as liner paper, and its surface is silicone coated. The liner paper has an isolation effect on the adhesive. Therefore, it is used as an accessory for the face material to ensure that the face material can be easily peeled off from the liner paper.

The backing paper is divided into ordinary backing paper and glass paper backing paper. Ordinary backing paper has a rough texture, is too thick, and is yellow, white, etc. according to its color. Glass paper has a dense and uniform texture, good strength and light transmittance, and commonly used colors are yellow, blue, white, etc.

Glass backing paper is the most common in the market today.

Face paper is the carrier of the printed content of the self-adhesive label. According to its material, it is divided into coated paper, thermal paper, PET, PVC, high temperature resistant labels, etc., and the face paper can be selected according to different uses and usage environments.

Adhesive is a layer of glue applied to the back of the face paper. On the one hand, it ensures the proper adhesion of the backing paper and the face paper. On the other hand, it ensures that after peeling off the face paper, it can have strong adhesion to the substrate.
